7 IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM OVERVIEW
7.1 KIT LOCK SET WITH UNIVERSAL IMMOBILIZER
An immobilizer control unit is an electronic device fitted in the vehicle which prevents vehicle to
start unless a valid key is being used to start the vehicle. This type universal immobilizer is
used across many platform, but in “XUV 7OO” Diesel variant it couples with only MD1CS018
EMS ECU.
