NORMAL OPERATION
• Ignition ON
• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts
normally
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
• This combination is registered when the signal from
the EMS ECU is not as expected by the UICU
DTC REACTIONS
• Immobilizer check lamp: OFF
• Engine check lamp: BLINKS
• Starter will engage, vehicle will not start
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF/ON
• Fault not present
• ID’s mismatch in EMS ECU &
UICU
• Disturbance in CAN circuit
• EMS ECU and UICU is out of
sync due to open or short circuit
in power or ground wire circuit of
EMS ECU
• EMS ECU and UICU is out of
sync due to open or short circuit
