4. Push up on actuator rod (C), and pin should
lift with the handle.
6.4.6 CUTTING HEIGHT
The header is raised or lowered with the
HEADER UP or HEADER DOWN switches on
the GSL. See illustration. The CDM indicates
the header height by a reading on the DISPLAY
lower line between
00.0 and 10.0
, with 00.0
being on the ground. Use DISPLAY
SELECTOR switch to display the current setting.
6.4.6.1 Return To Cut (Optional)
The monitoring system assists the Operator in
maintaining the desired cutting height with the
optional RETURN TO CUT feature that can be
turned OFF or ON with a switch on the CDM.
The RETURN TO CUT feature enables the
Operator to have the header return to a
pre-selected cutting height and angle.
If desired, the CDM can be programmed so that
only the cutting height feature is active. The unit
is pre-programmed to activate both cutting
height and header angle.
a. Program the RETURN TO CUT feature as
follows:
IMPORTANT
The windrower must be running with the
header engaged.
1. RETURN TO CUT switch must be OFF
(indicator light is OFF).
2. Adjust the header to the desired height with
the HEADER UP or HEADER DOWN
switches on the GSL. CDM displays
between
00.0 and 10.0
.
3. Adjust the header angle with the HEADER
TILT UP or HEADER TILT DOWN switches
on the GSL. CDM displays between
0.0
and 10.0
. This step is not required if height
only has been pre-selected.
4. Press the RETURN TO CUT switch on the
CDM. The indicator light will illuminate, and
the settings are now programmed into the
WCM.
