
Greasing points are marked on the machine by decals
showing a grease gun and the grease interval in hours
of operation.
Refer to

for recommended lubricants.
Log hours of operation and use the Maintenance Record
provided to keep a record of scheduled maintenance.

Greasing Procedure
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator’s seat for any reason.
1. Open driveshields at ends of header to access
greasing points. Refer to
2. Wipe grease

tting with a clean cloth before greasing
to avoid injecting dirt and grit.
3. Inject grease through
fi
tting with grease gun until
grease over
fl
ows
fi
tting, except where noted.
IMPORTANT:
Use only recommended lubricants speci
fi
ed
in this manual. Refer to
Fluids and Lubricants, page 98
4. Leave excess grease on
fi
tting to keep out dirt.
5. Replace any loose or broken
fi
ttings immediately.
6. Remove and thoroughly clean any
fi
tting that will
not take grease. Also clean lubricant passageway.
Replace

tting if necessary.
