Windrow Types

The following criteria determine windrow quality:

•

Weight Distribution:

Heads and stalks distributed evenly across full width of windrow.

•

Good Curing:

A loose, open windrow for better drying.

•

Good Weatherability:

A well-formed windrow that supports heads off the ground and holds together in extreme

weather conditions.
