Notes on dust emission

The dust emission values measured according to the “Guidelines for the

test of dust emission (concentration parameter) for wood processing machi

nes” by the technical wood committee are below 2 mg/m3. Thus, a consis

tently safe compliance with the TRK threshold value for wood dust applica

ble in the Federal Republic of Germany can be assumed when connecting

the machine to a proper extraction device with an air speed of at least 20

m/s
