Lower conveyor belt replacement
The operation must be carried out by the maintenance technician or by personnel
with suitable competences, skills and knowledge.
Make sure to fulfil the required requirements in order to work under safe condi-
tions.
– The figure shows the points of intervention and the description shows the procedures
to be adopted.
1.
Mark the intervention area and pre-
vent access to the devices that, if ac-
tivated, may cause unexpected haz-
ards and jeopardize the safety level.

Remove the plugs

Loosen the screws

Disassemble the guard

Slightly loosen nut

Loosen the belt

means of the adjusting system

Slide the worn belt manually until
coupling reaches an easily accessi-
ble point.

Slip out pin

Connect the end of new belt with
worn one and insert pin

– This operation is necessary to ena-
ble the insertion of new component.
Replace the components ONLY with
GENUINE SPARE PARTS or with oth-
er components of equivalent design
and functional specifications.

Slide worn belt manually until cou-
pling

reaches an easily accessible
point.
13.
Disconnect the ends of belts.
14.
Connect the ends of new belt and insert pin

in order to carry out coupling.
15.
Adjust the tension of belt by means of the adjusting system
