Perform the appropriate procedure:
a.
To add a subscriber to AVP:
— Enter the subscriber information; press
[ENTER]
after each field.
— Press
[F1]
(ADD).
— AVP will confirm the addition.
b. To remove a subscriber from AVP:
—
Enter the subscriber’s extension number.
—
Press
[F4]
(DISPLAY) to display the record.
—
If it is the correct record, press
[F2]
(DELETE) to remove it.
—
AVP will ask you to type
n
or
y
then AVP will confirm
the deletion.
NOTE:
If you make a mistake, use the arrow keys to move to the field with the error;
then enter the correct information. If you have already pressed
[F1]
(ADD),
enter the extension, press
[F4]
(DISPLAY), make your corrections, and press
[F3]
(CHANGE) .
If you have added an incorrect extension, enter that extension and press
[F4]
(DISPLAY) to display the record. If it is the proper record, press
[F2]
(DELETE) . If you have mistakenly deleted an extension, you must reenter all
the information and press
[F1]
(ADD) again. (The person whose extension
you deleted by error will have lost all greetings and messages.)
