3. Hyper terminal will now setup the communication port. Make the following selections as listed below.
Bits per second : 9600
Data bits : 8
Parity: None
Stop bits : 1
Flow control : None
Select OK when finished.
4. Now it will be necessary to edit the properties of this connection. From under the FILE menu, select
PROPERTIES, and then select the SETTINGS tab. Click on the ASCII Setup button.
Under the ASCII Receiving section deselect the
Wrap lines that exceed terminal width box.
Select OK when finished.

c) Click The ASCII SETUP Button
d) Deselect “ WRAP LINES THAT
EXCEED TERMINAL WIDTH”
