Local Alarms, Indicators And Readout 

 

The LubriMist® Model JD is equipped with sensors which monitor different operating functions for the Main 
Oil Mist Generator. The operating status of each of these operating functions is enunciated by a display 
message on the liquid crystal display. 

The signals from the sensors are fed into the conditioning circuits of the controller.  The conditioning 

circuit signal is interpreted and scaled by the program to produce gauge values.  See "Reading Unit 
Operating Conditions" for instructions on how to check the operating conditions. 
 

The program performs an ordered series of control set point checks for the maximum and minimum 

values of each monitored function.  If the current value exceeds a maximum setting (high alarm) or is less 
than a minimum setting (low alarm), the 

JD

 controller recognizes the fault condition and locally identifies the 

alarm. 
 

The Model "JD" locally identifies and indicates a fault condition in two ways.  They are: 1) fault 

message displayed on the liquid crystal display and, 2) red and green externally mounted unit status lights.
