T7450A User Manual

2. Press F1 (More) one time. The unit shows the second option menu.

3. Press 1 to select System Status.

4. Press F1 (More) to review the settings.

5. Press F4 (Exit) when finished.

Maintenance Code

The maintenance function is only used at the direction of Long Range Systems. It is provided for resetting
time-out functions inserted at the factory when replacement or evaluation transmitters are supplied. To use
when a maintenance message is displayed:

1. Press SETUP to enable the function menu.

2. Press F1 (More) one time for display to show 2: Maintenance.

3. Press 2 to select Maintenance, then:

• Press F2 (check) to determine how many days are set into the unit.

• Press F1 (run) to enter the new access code (only available from LRS).

Time and Date Format

The Time and Date format viewed on the display can be set to either US or European readout. European date
will view as DD/MM/YY; USA date will view as MM/DD/YY

To set the Time and Date Format:

1. Press SETUP

2. Press MORE (F1) until asked for the authorization code.

3. Now type 5-6-7-8-9

4. Repeatedly press MORE (F1) to find 3: Time/Date Format on the menu.

5. Select Time/Date Format.

6. At Set Format:

• Press F4 to set for European.

• Press F1 to set for USA.

System ID Functions

Restaurant ID is used to prevent neighboring establishments using LRS equipment from interfering with
each other. Operation of the ID finder to discover your system’s ID and the ID Set function are described in
the following paragraphs.

Caution:

The ID set function should be used only when directed by LRS personnel. Misuse will
cause paging problems!!!
