
Maintenance Functions
The following features are not normally adjusted unless directed by LRS.
User’s Access Code
Many of the functions that adjust paging preferences are protected by an access code.
• To reduce tampering with critical settings the keypad is password protected
• The access code 5 6 7 8 9 allows you to enter many of the restricted programming screens.
• In some cases additional access codes may be required that can be obtained from LRS.
Set the System Time/Date
Time on Alpha and Numeric pagers may be reset each time batteries are replaced. The time/date may be
reset at the individual pagers, but all pagers in use may be synchronized to the transmitter. The following
prepares time/date information to send to these pagers.
Set the Date
Set the Time and Date
1. Press SETUP to enable the function menu.
2. Press MORE (F1) to find 3:Set Time/Date.
3. Select 3: Set Time/Date.
4. Press Set (F1).
5. Enter the time in hours and minutes.
6. Press Enter.
7. Press F1 (for AM) or F2 (for PM).
8. Enter date in MO/DA/YR (e.g. May 21, 2009 = 05/21/09).
9. Press Enter.
Send the Time and Date to a Pager
1. Be sure the Alpha or Numeric pagers are in operation.
2. Press SETUP to enable the function menu.
3. Press F1 (More) until the unit shows 3: Set Time/Date.
4. Press 3 to select Set Time/Date.
5. Set the time and date (if necessary – see above)
6. Press the number 1 (Send to Pager) and the pagers will update.
Review System Status
The system status is used to review the operational program settings in the unit.
To review the settings:
1. Press SETUP to enable the function menu.
