Observe the same precautions if the rear wheels become mired in soft ground or drop in a

hole.

Do not drive near the edge of a ditch or gully.

Only one person, the operator, should be permitted on the tractor when it is in operation.
Never allow a person to ride on the cultivator.

When driving on public roads and highways:

a.

Do not drive after dark.

b.

Use a slow-moving vehicle emblem.

Before working on the cultivator, shut off the tractor, set the parking brake, relieve
pressure on the hydraulic lines and disconnect hydraulic lines from the tractor.

Don’t work under the machine when it is in the raised or folded position.

Never make any adjustments or lubricate the machine with the tractor running or with

someone on the tractor.

In the event the cultivator is a folding wing type, make sure no one is close to the machine

when the wings are lowered.

On folding wing models, be sure the wings are locked in the transport position before over-
the-road hauling.

PREOPERATING CHECKLIST

Before operating the cultivator, follow these instructions:

1.

Read and have a thorough understanding of the Operator’s Manual, especially the
section pertaining to machine operation and safety.

2.

Be sure anyone who will assist you in the operation of this machine knows how the
machine operates.

3.

Know the machine’s safety features and understand the safety pointers.

4.

Be sure the machine is hitched properly to the tractor.

5.

Be sure all lubrication points have been lubricated.

6.

Give the machine a “once over” for any loose bolts.

7.

Check optional gauge wheel tire pressure.

8.

Check hydraulic connect of cultivator to hydraulic controls.

a.

Connect hoses from frame to one separately controlled valve.

9.

Connect machine to tractor and perform the following operating checks:

a.
