Explanation:
TFTP server name whom the client will contact next for a boot file.
Parameters:
name
name of the host
server_name
IP address or name in ASCII format
Command:
>set dhcphost bootfile
Syntax:
set dhcp host bootfile name filename
Explanation:
Boot file name.
Parameters:
Name
name of the host
filename
boot file name in ASCII format
Command:
>set dhcp fixed_address
Syntax:
set dhcp fixed_address name ipaddr
Explanation:
Fixed IP address for a host can also specified using this command. These addresses should
not be listed as being available for dynamic assignment. Hosts for which fixed addresses
have been specified can boot using DHP or BOOTP, but hosts for which no fixed IP
address are specified can only boot using DHCP.
Parameters:

Command:
>set dhcp client_identifier
Syntax:
set dhcp client_identifier name string
Explanation:
Use this command to specify a unique ID for the host.
Parameters:
name
name of the host
string
id for the host
Command:
set dhcp host default_lease
Syntax:
set dhcp host default_lease name value
Explanation:
User can specify the default duration of a lease using this command. If the user does not
mention a default lease, the default value of one day will automatically be assigned.
Parameters:
name
name of the subnet
value
duration in secs
Command:
>set dhcp max_lease
Syntax:
set dhcp max_lease name value
Explanation:
User can specify the maximum duration of a lease (applicable only for a dhcp client) by
this command. If a dhcp client is asking for a lease that is longer than the max_lease, the
server will only give the lease for the max_lease period. If the client does not mention
anything, then the default_lease will be assigned.
Parameters:
name
name of the subnet

max duration of lease in secs
Command:
>set dhcp option_code
Syntax:
set dhcp option_code name code value
Explanation:
Apart from the above options, if the user wants to specify other options for this host, he/she
should use this command. Using this command, the user can specify a maximum of eight
options. They are specified by the option code..

code
RFC specific option code has to be mentioned
value
corresponding option value, may be string or numeric value
