Comand:

>set dhcp subnet default_router

Syntax:

set dhcp subnet default_router name ipaddr1 [ipaddr2] [ipaddr3] [ipaddr4]

Explanation:

If there are routers in the subnet that are different from the global routers, the user should
use this command. One IP address is required, although the user can specify up to four
routers.

Parameters:

name

name of subnet

ipaddr1

router-1 IP address

ipaddr2

router-2 IP address

Ipaddr3

router-3 IP address

paddr4

router-4 IP address

Command:

>set dhcp bcast_addr

Syntax:

set dhcp bcast_addr name ipaddr

Explanation:

Broadcast address for this subnet

Parameters:

name

name of subnet

ipaddr

IP address

Command:

>set dhcp netbios_server

Syntax:

set dhcp netbios_server name ipaddr1 [ipaddr2] [ipaddr3] [ipaddr4]

Explanation:

User can specify a maximum of four netbios servers for a subnet. If user use this
command, at least one server name has to be mentioned.

Parameters:

name

name of the subnet

ipaddr1

netbios-server-1 IP address

ipaddr2

netbios-server-2 IP address

ipaddr3

netbios-server-3 IP address

ipaddr4

netbios-server-4 IP address

Command:

>set dhcp netbios_node

Syntax:

set dhcp netbios_node name value

Explanation:

Set netbios node type

Parameters:

name

name of the subnet

value

possible values are B-node/P-node/M-node/H-node

Command:

>set dhcp option_code

Syntax:

set dhcp option_code name code value

Explanation:

Apart from the above options (B-node/P-node/M-node/H-node), if the user wants to specify
other options for this subnet, he/she should use this command. Using this command, the
user can specify a maximum of eight option by the option code.

Parameters:

name

name of the subnet

code

RFC specific option code has to be mentioned

value

corresponding option value, may be string or numeric

Command:

>set dhcp host hardware

Syntax:

set dhcp host hardware name hw_addr

Explanation:

If a user wants to configure for a specific host, he/she needs to mention its hardware
type/address using this command.

Parameters:

name

name of the host

hw_addr

hardware type and address, possible values for type is ETHERNET,
TOKEN-RING, FDDI

Command:

>set dhcp host next_server

Syntax:

set dhcp host next_server name server_name
