Manually check that the door opens and closes completely and correctly.
Bring the door in the engaged position.
6-7, Install the protector system
WARNING : Be sure power is NOT connected to the garage door opener
BEFORE installing the safety beam.
To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from closing garage door:
- Correctly connect and align the safety beam. This required safety device MUST
NOT be disabled
- Install the safety beam is NO HIGHER than 6
” (15cm) above garage floor.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE SAFETY BEAM
The safety beam must be connected and aligned correctly before the garage door
opener will move in the down direction.
The sending sensor(with a red LED) transmits an invisible light beam to the receiving
sensor( with a green LED). If an obstruction breaks the light beam while the door is
closing, the door will stop and reverse to the full open position.
