System Configuration
The Gocator legal for trade system can be installed on different size conveyors. Once
mounted, the X start and X end of the measurement region must be smaller than the width
of the conveyor. If these values are not changed, the system may attempt to measure
objects outside of the conveyor.
To adjust the measurement region, download the
Gocator Conveyor Utility
from the LMI
downloads page to a local PC or laptop and connect to the sensor.
Follow the steps below:
1. Select the sensor from the
Connect
control window.
2. The sensor will start scanning in profile mode and display the profile in the area
below. If the full profile is not visible, increase the exposure accordingly.

3. Select
Find Conveyor
to have the sensor select the
X-Start
and
X-End
values
needed to cover the conveyor. The Region indicator will change from Red to Green
indicating the region has been properly configured.
