To stop recording
W hen you press [ STO P] , it m ay take a few m om ents for
recording to stop and the session to close.
To pause recording
Press [
PAU SE] to pause recording, and press [
PAU SE]
to resum e recording.
To change the recording m ode.
Press [SETU P].
N otes:
The new setting can'
t change the current recording m ode but w ill
be activated during the next session.
To check the disc status w hile recording
Press [D ISPLAY] , the recording inform ation appears.

1.Press [ PO W ER ] to turn the unit on.
2.Press [ O PEN /C LO SE] to open the tray and
insert a recordable D VD disc.
Press the button again to close the tray.
W hen you insert a new recordable D VD disc, the D VD -R ecorder
w ill autom atically start the disc preparation process.
3.Press [SO U R C E] to change the “signal-input
source” and select the “TV” input.

LVW -5002 D VD R ecorder records on both D VD +R and D VD +R W
discs. Please use qualified recordable D VD +R /R W discs to ensure

LVW -5006 D VD R ecorder is a versatile D VD -R ecorder that
em ploys the “ALL W R ITE”technology to m ake it alright to record
on alm ost all of the recordable discs. You m ay use D VD +R W ,
D VD +R , D VD -R W , D VD -R , C D -R W or C D -R discs to record.
Please use qualified recordable D VD +R /R W disc to ensure the

Notes:
1.C D -R , D VD +R & D VD -R are w rite once D VD discs.
2.C D -R W , D VD +R W & D VD -R W are re-w ritable D VD discs.
3.You cannot add new recording to a D VD -R /D VD -R W /D VD +R
disc after the disc is finalized.
4.In som e cases, you m ay not be able to add new recording to the
recordable D VD discs that contain recordings recorded by other
D VD -R ecorders.

U se one-touch recording to start recording im m ediately in 30
m inute blocks. Each tim e you press the record button, the
recording tim e is extended by another 30 m inutes.
