A utom atic TV channel search
W hen the autom atic channel search function is activated, the TV
channels are searched and stored in a specific order. If the channel
assignm ents of your TV content provider changes or if you are
reinstalling the D VD -R ecorder, you m ay need to start this proce-
dure again.This w ill replace the stored TV channel w ith the new
ones.
1.Ensure the antennas are securely connected to
the D VD -R ecorder.
2.Sw itch on the TV set and the D VD -R ecorder.
3.Press [SETU P] to bring up the “SETU P” m enu,
press [
S
] [
T
] to select the “TV TU N ER ” and
press [
X
].
4.Press [
S
] [
T
] to select “U tilities” and press
[
X
].
5.Press [
S
] [
T
] to select “STA R T SC A N ” and
press [EN TER ] to start auto channel search.
6.The auto TV channel search starts. The proce-
dure m ay take few m inutes.
7.W hen all the TV channel have been searched
and stored, press [SETU P] to exit.
Adding ordeleting TV channelm anually
After you have perform ed the autom atic channel search, you m ay
like to add or delete som e of the TV channels. This function allow s
adding or deleting channel m anually.
1.Press [SETU P] to display the “SETU P” m enu,
press [

] [
T
] to select “TV TU N ER ” and press
[
X
].
2.Press [
S
] [
T
] to select “U ilities” and press
[
X
].
3.Press [
S
] [
T
] to select “A dd/D elete” and press
[EN TER ] to bring up the add/delete m enu.
4.Press [
W
] [
X
][
S
] [
T
] to select the channel(s)
that you w ant to add or delete and press
[EN TER ] to confirm it.
M ove the cursor to the TV channel and you can press [EN TER ]
again to cancel delete operation.
5.Press [
W
] [
X

] to select “EXIT” and
press [EN TER ] to save setting and exit the add/
delete m enu.
Fine-tuning TV channelm anually
After you have perform ed the autom atic channel search you m ay
like to fine tune the TV channel signal m anually. Follow the steps
below to com plete fine tune.
1.Press [SETU P] to bring up the “SETU P” m enu,
press [

] to select the “TV TU N ER ” and
press [
X
].
2.Press [
S
][
T
] to select “FIN E” and press [
X
].
3.Press [
S
][
T
] to fine tune the channel signal.
Sw apping TV channelm anually (follow ing TV)
This function allow s users to m anually sw ap the TV channel order
stored in D VD -R ecorder to m atch the TV channel order stored in
users’TV set.
1.Press [SETU P] to display the “SETU P” m enu,
press [
S
] [
T
] to select the “TV TU N ER ” icon
and press [
X
].
2.Press [
S
] [
T
] to select “Sw ap” and press
[EN TER ] to bring up the “SW A P” m enu.
3.Select the TV channel(s) to be sw apped and
press [EN TER ] to m ark it/them .
4.Press [
S
] [
T
][
W
] [
X
] to select a new channel
position and press [EN TER ] to sw ap.
5.To sw ap m ore TV channels, repeat step “3” to
com plete the settings.
6.Select “EXIT” to save the setting and exit the
“SW A P” m enu.
