5 Bed Setup
Column and accelerometer calibration
After replacing always calibrate:
a) Any column.
b) Control box.
c) Accelerometer (iBoard Basic)
d) Any iBoard Basic
Calibration of columns means:
Calibrating the speed of the columns during up or down movement.
Calibration of accelerometers means:
Calibrating the mattress platform, backrest and calfrest accelerometers in the horizontal position.
5.1.1 Column and accelerometer calibration using the ACP

Ensure the bed is on a level floor!

Enter the calibration mode by pressing a combination of four buttons on the nurse control panel.

Simultaneously press backrest up, backrest down, CPR and anti-Trendelenburg buttons, and hold for 3 seconds.

Check whether you are in calibration mode. The lock functions and battery LEDs should be flashing on the ACP.
Control panel as well as the battery LED on the iBoard panel and the lock function LEDs on the hand control.

This mode is only active for 1 minute.

Hold CPR button. The bed will go UP, DOWN and UP. After each end position one LED lock will turn off.

In case of unpress of the CPR button during the calibration, the calibration stop and must be repeat.
Transport lock

Simultaneously press the calfrest down , calfrest up, and Trendelenburg buttons , and hold them for 3
seconds to activate the transport lock. The bed must be disconnected from the mains.
