USER MEMORIES
Recall a memory with memory buttons
Torecallauseramemory,pressoneofthesixuser
memorybuttons.Thememoryisrecalledwhenthe
buttonisreleased.Donotholdthebuttonformore
thantwosecondswhenrecallingausermemory.
Recall a memory with the gun trigger
Ifdesired,memories1through8canberecalledwith
theguntrigger.Forexample,torecallmemory3,
quicklypullandreleasetheguntrigger3timeswithout
welding.Torecallmemory1,quicklypullandrelease
theguntrigger9timeswithoutwelding.Note:thewire
feederisfactorysetwiththisfeaturedisabled.Use
theSETUPmenuandchangeP.4toenablememory
recallwiththeguntrigger.
NotethatmemoriesmaybelockedwithP.C.applica-
tionsoftwaretopreventaccidentaloverwriteofthe
memories.Ifanattemptismadetosaveamemory
whenmemorysavingislocked,themessage
"MemorysaveisDisabled!"willappearbrieflyinthe
MSP4display.

• Memory save and recall
• Limits setting
Therearetwoprocedurememories(
A
and
B
)and
eightusermemories(1-8).
Procedure Memory vs. User Memory
Procedurememoryisusedwhilewelding.Changesto
theweldprocedure(WFS,voltage,UltimArc™
Controll,etc.)immediatelychangethecontentsinside
theselectedprocedurememory.
Usermemoriesworkbycopyingtheweldprocedure
fromoneoftheeightmemoriesintoeitherthe“A”or
“B”procedure.Weldproceduresaresavedintothe
memoriesonlywhentheoperatorchooses.
Using Procedure Memories
Procedurememoriescanbeselectedbychoosing
either"A"or"B"proceduredirectlywiththememory
panel,orbyselecting"GUN"andusingadualproce-
dureguntoselectbetweenprocedure"A"and"B".
Whenselectingprocedureswiththegunswitch,"A"or
"B"willflashtoshowwhichprocedureisactive.
