5.3 Setting the Preset value
Example
The encoder having device address 1 transmits the position value to the Master.
Position value is loaded into variables ED 100…103 (4 bytes).
Speed value is loaded into variables ED 104…107 (4 bytes).
The
Preset value is sent to the encoder using variables AD 100…103 (4 bytes).
The current position of the encoder is 0003 7AA1hex.
To set the Preset value = 0000 0500hex, set bit 31 of variable AD 100 = “1”
(8000 0500hex).
