Power Up your Quad-RAK/Receiver

1. Push the Quad-RAK power switch to the “ON” position.
2. The POWER ON LED will light.
3. Rotate the Power/Volume knob on the receiver module clockwise to turn on.
4. When the system is switched on, the receiver module will have two letters flashing

on the LED screen to indicate the corresponding frequency group
(see chart on page 19).

Each receiver has 100 user-selectable channels to choose from.  You can either select a
channel manually or by pressing the “SCAN” button, which will automatically select a
clear channel.

Clear Channel Scan (Recommended):  Make sure the transmitter(s) is OFF
before pressing this button.  When this button is pressed, the receiver will cycle
through all 100 channels and select a clear frequency 

(this process takes about

20 seconds).  Once the receiver selects the clear channel, you will need to select
the same channel on the corresponding transmitter

Channel Set-up for Multiple Receivers:  Verify that the first receiver is
operating on a clear channel and the transmitter for that receiver is turned ON.
With all other transmitters turned OFF, press the “SCAN” button on the
next receiver.  After that receiver selects a clear channel, set the corresponding
transmitter 

(handheld or belt-pack) to that same channel.  Repeat this process for

each additional receiver.
