Before testing, make sure the meter is coded correctly.

he meter automatical-
ly displays the last test
result with the date. . .

Press blue power button
to turn on meter. Make
sure a test strip is not in the
meter when you turn it on.

. . . and then the code
number is displayed
afterward.

Compare the code
number on the meter to
the code number on the test
strip vial. If the code num-
bers do not match, press
the green
C
button until the
code number on the meter
matches the code number
on the test strip vial.
P E R F O R M I N G A T E S T

Firmly push the test
strip into the test strip
holder, with the tapered-end
first and the confirmation
dot facing down, until it
stops. Read result. Do not
remove strip until count-
down is complete.

Check confirmation dot
on back of test strip and
make sure it is completely
blue.

Apply blood to the
centre of the
pink test
square.
Never add a second
drop of blood.
