PET EXERCISE SAFETY
26. The magnetic safety key must be in place before the treadmill can be used.
27. Take your pet to the veterinarian for a checkup and to get exercise
frequency and duration recommendations for your pet’s specific breed,
age, size, and overall health. This is especially important for older pets,
those that are overweight, have heart/circulatory problems, joint problems
such as arthritis and hip dysplasia, or have not been active for some time.

EXERCISE ENVIRONMENT
29. Use and store the treadmill only on a sturdy, flat, clean floor and in a dry
environment between 50–86°F.
30. Ensure there is at least seven feet of clearance behind the treadmill, and
at least four feet of clearance to the front and sides.
31. It is recommended to place a floor covering (rug, carpet, mat) beneath the
PawRunner to protect floors that could be damaged, such as carpet, wood,
laminates, and floor tiles. Ensure that the floor covering does not slide
around before beginning exercise.
32. Do not place the PawRunner on white or light-colored carpets or rugs as
the feet could leave marks or discoloring.
33. Use the PawRunner in a well-ventilated room, so that an optimal amount of
oxygen is available during exercise. Avoid drafty areas.
CLEANING, STORAGE & MAINTENANCE
34. Flip the power switch to the OFF position, unplug the power cable, and let
the treadmill completely cool down before cleaning, storing, or transporting.
35. Wipe down the treadmill with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each use.
Ensure the treadmill is completely dry before using again. Do not use
abrasive, corrosive, solvent, or chemical cleaners or harsh detergents.
36. Store the treadmill in a cool, dry location. Do not store in a garage or
covered patio, or near water.
37. Store the magnetic safety key separately to prevent unauthorized use of
the treadmill, especially by children.
38. Never open the motor housing unless instructed to do so by an authorized
service representative. Servicing other than the procedures in this manual
should be performed by an authorized service representative only.
39. Never insert or drop any object into any opening.
