Pre--‐Operating Instructions: Generator Setup

CAUTION

: Any attempt to start the generator before it has been properly serviced may result in engine failure and

void warranty.

ADD ENGINE OIL:

Refer to the diagrams below.

1.

Place generator on level surface.

2.

Remove the left Access Panel (Refer to Controls and Features section).

3.

Clean area around Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug & Unscrew Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug.

4.

Use Supplied Funnel to fill with appropriate type and amount of oil using Oil Fill Bottle. Refer to Chart below for
recommended oil type based on Environmental t e m p e r at u r e . NOTE: Refer to “Product Specifications”
section for universal recommended oil type and oil amount.

5.

Replace Oil Hole Dipstick/Plug and tighten securely.

6.

Replace the Right Access Panel.
