Network
Network
The system supports PPPoE, DHCP and Static modes.
Select a network for your environment.
Note
It may require a reboot depending on your network settings.
1. Client Port, HTTP: Enter the port.
Note
•
Client Port: Enter the TCP/IP port. You can watch the
live surveillance screen through a client program on your
PC. It recommend to change this port number for added
flexibility or security. (Range: 1 025 ~ 65 535)
•
HTTP Port: Enter the website port number. You can
watch the live surveillance screen through web browser
connected to a network. It recommend to change this
port number for added flexibility or security.
•
When you change the TCP/IP port or web browser port
number, a PC client program or a web browser will be
disconnected all access.
2. Set the network for your environment.
•
PPPoE:
-
Select the PPPoE type.
-
Enter User, Password.
-
DNS1, DNS2: Enter the DNS1(mainserver) and
DNS2(subserver) address.
•
DHCP:
-
Select the DHCP type.
-
IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway, DNS1:
The DVR automatically obtain and configure the network
interface via DHCP.

DNS2: Enter the DNS2(subserver) address.
•
Static:
-
Select the Static, and set up the network environment
manually.

IP Address: Enter the IP address from the network service
providers have been granted.

Subnet Mask: Enter the Subnet Mask from the network
service providers have been granted.

Gateway: Enter the IP address from the Gateway providers
have been granted.

DNS1, DNS2: Enter the DNS1(mainserver) and
DNS2(subserver) address.
3. UPnP: Select [Enable] or [Disable].
Save:
Click [Save] button to confirm the settings.
Note
•
The port setting method is different depending on the type
of router that uses. Refer to the router owner's manual for
the detail setting.
•
It assign imaginary IP from the router to DVR.
• Check the MAC address of DVR match with the MAC address
of Joint port forwarding ports.
• When using more than one DVR, check the MAC address of
each.
