GDK-100
DIGITAL KEY TELEPHONE SYSTEM

Note

1) When ISDN board is installed, PLLU should be installed. Otherwise there is no necessity for

installing PLLU. If PLLU is not installed, the shorting trap (short pin) should be set to INT position

of CONN5 contacts 12 and 13.

The shorting trap (short pin) is installed on INT position when the board delivered.

Note:

MPB should be installed in MPB slot, the right most slot in BKSU or SBKSU.

The DIP switch, SW3 should be turned ON position before the MPB installation to protect

system data in the case of a power fail.

The 8

pole (switch 8) of SW2 should be OFF to protect the variety features by Admin

programming after the system power up and initialization. See Table 3.4.2

When the system power is on, the default slots will be automatically redefined from the most left slot if

the 8

pole of SW2 is set to ON position. So It is recommended that a board among DTIB12, DTIB24

and DSIB is installed in the most left slot and a Digital Keyset with display is connected to the first port

the board when the first initialization of the system, since the FIRST STATION of the system can only

access the system database without PC Administration.

The pin #12 and #13 of the connector CONN5 in the MPB should be shorted with a shorting trap

(short pin) for proper operation when the PLLU is NOT installed. Refer to the clause 3.4.2.3

PLLU Installation.

Add-on boards: MEMU, SMEMU, PLLU, MODU.
