Installation

Storing, transporting
Attention !
When transporting, package the device so that it is protected against collision and
humidity. Optimal protection is achieved when using the original packaging. Heed
the required environmental conditions specified in the technical data.
Unpacking

Check the packaging for any damage. If damage is found, notify the post of-
fice or shipping agent as well as the supplier.

Check the delivery contents against your order and the delivery papers:

delivered quantity
·
device type and model as indicated on the name-plate
·
accessories
·
operating manual(s)

Save the original packaging in case the device must be stored or shipped at a
later time.
Should you have questions, please contact your distributor or the responsible Leu-
ze electronic sales office (see reverse of this operating manual).

Observe the locally applicable regulations when disposing of the packaging
materials.
Cleaning
➜
Before installing, clean the DDLS 170 lenses with a soft cloth. Remove all
packaging remains, e.g. carton fibres or styrofoam balls.
Attention !
Do not use an aggressive cleaning material such as thinner or acetone to clean the
device.
