Recommended cable
Profibus, RS485, Suconet K
No special connection cables are necessary for the installation of the DDLS 170
supply and control lines. The Profibus standard specifies two cable types for the
connection of the data lines into the FMS and DP systems.
Cable type A is particularly suited for high transmission rates and long ranges. Ca-
ble type B should be used only with short ranges and transmission rates up to 500
kbit/s.
