9.6.3.9 Alarms

Attribute 44

The PLB and ERR status messages generated by the AMS 355

are entered in bit 0 and bit 1.

The alarms entered here lead to incorrect measurement values at the AMS 355

. The CIP

specification makes a distinction between alarms and warnings.

The following applies for PLB and ERR:

0 = No alarm

1 = Alarm

Attribute 45

Attribute 45 indicates which alarms specified by the position sensor object are supported by

the AMS 355

Bit 0 = 1; PLB alarm is supported by the AMS 355

Bit 1 = 1; ERR alarm is supported by the AMS 355

Bit 2 to bit 15 = 0
