Product Description

4.1

General Description

Safety-I/O module features 4 safe inputs and 2 safe outputs for distributed installation.

Figure 1: Module layout shows the basic layout of c250-S Safety.

The housing mount consists of an aluminium profile with an integrated clamping fixture used
to attach the module to a 35 mm DIN rail. The housing trough including the optical fibres for
the status indicators, the side faces and the front are made of plastic and contain the module.
The optical fibres for the signal state indicators (LEDs) are located next to the spring-assisted
combi plug. They slightly protrude from the housing and allow a clear diagnosis at a glance.
