1. Place the appliance on a flat,
heat-resistant surface.
2. Unwind the power cord with the
power plug completely and connect
the appliance to a properly installed
power outlet that corresponds to the
specifications on the device.
3. The red operation indicator lamp (3)
and the green temperature indicator
lamp (4) light up. The appliance starts
heating up.
4. After the device has reached the
operating temperature, the green
temperature indicator light (4) goes
out. This indicates that the optimum
temperature has been reached.
5. The temperature control light (4) and
thus also the thermostat now turn on
and off during operation to maintain
the optimum temperature.
6. Unlock the locking clip and fully
open the housing cover.
7. Some dough recipes tend to stick, so
grease the baking plates with butter,
margarine or heat-resistant vegetable
oil.
8. Distribute the dough evenly so that
the entire bottom baking pan is filled
with dough. Fill the baking pan up to
the upper edge of the inner elevations.
If overfilled, the dough swells over the
edge of the baking pan when the
lid is closed and contaminates the
appliance and worktop.
9. Close the lid of the appliance
immediately after filling the dough and
squeeze the handles together briefly
and lightly. Seal the device with the
help of the clip so that the waffles get
a uniform browning at the top and
bottom.
10. Only open the lid after 2-3 minutes
of baking time to check the baking
result. Too frequent opening of the lid
will cool down the device more quickly
and affect even browning.
11. The ideal baking time varies
depending on the recipe and the
desired degree of browning.
12. The waffles can be removed
after the baking time with a suitable,
heat-resistant wood or plastic spatula.
Be careful not to scratch the baking
pans.
NOTE!
• If a waffle gets stuck in the device
or if the lid does not open correctly,
do not reach into the device or onto
the hot surfaces of the appliance. Use
suitable cooking gloves and / or a
suitable spatula to open the device lid
or to take the waffle from the device.
WARNING!
• After taking out the waffles are very
hot! Allow the waffles to cool sufficient-
ly before consumption. Risk of burns!
13. In order to bake more waffles, close
the device again and wait until the
device reaches the required tempera-
ture (see point 3) and start again from
point 6.
NOTE!
Please note that the next waffles may
be baked in less time, as the baking
molds store some of the heat.
It is
possible that few baking rounds are
required to get the best results.
