How to Clean the Air Filter

The filter prevents dust and other particles from entering

the indoor unit. Dust buildup can reduce the efficiency of

the air conditioner. For optimum efficiency, clean the air

filter every two weeks or more frequently if you live in a

dusty area. Replace the filter with a new one if it’s heavily

clogged and cannot be cleaned.

1.

Open the front panel.

2.  Remove the Air Filter: Press the clamps on the right

and left sides of the air filter down slightly, then pull

upward to remove the air filter.
