SERVICE INSPEKTION PROCEDURE MSV 104
1. Play of spindle and carriage:
The maximum permissible longitudinal
play of the spindles is 0.lmm.
The maximum permissible longitudinal
play of the carriages, including that
of the spindles, is 0.2mm.
2. Function inspection of the end-switches:
Using X- and Y-carriages respectively
and maximum speed step, travel to
end-stops S2 and S4.
- Carriages must stop 3mm before
mechanical stop.
Inspection of direction of movement
Inspection of mid-point
- When the resetting key is pressed,
the XY-unit must return to the mid-point
from any position.
The illuminated resetting key shines.
3. Switchboard:
The bridges on the switchboard
must be connected as follows:
- X-axis: Bridge pin l/2
- Y-axis: Bridge pin 2/3
4. Function inspection with the control unit:
Maximum and minimum speeds:
- Turn speed potentiometer to minimum
and maximum.
All movements must be uniform and
free of judder.
