Using both hands at the sides (Fig. 13.1), grasp
the bottom of the instrument and carefully place it
on a suitable laboratory table.
Compare with the attached packing list to
make sure the delivery is complete.

Assembling the drain tube
•
Connect the drain tube (Fig. 13.2) to the bottom of the instrument (

).
•
Ensure that the loose end of the drain tube is closed tightly with the
matching stopper.
•
Secure the loose end of the drain tube in the holder at the rear of the
instrument (

Assembling the magnifier support and footswitch (optional)

The magnifier support (

) is packaged separately.
•
Set it on the instrument as shown in Fig. 13.3.
•
Attach the optional footswitch.
•
Securely plug the footswitch into the 9-pin socket (

When transporting the instrument, always do so WITHOUT the
magnifier support!
