3.3 Switching the spreading disc and agitator on and off

Danger!

When travelling on public roads and streets, observe the

road traffic regulations.

Warning!

The drive motor starts immediately when switched on. Make

sure that no-one is in the danger area when you switch the

system on.

Warning!
Risk of injury

Do not operate the spreader if there are technical safety

defects.

Press the button to switch on the

equipment. The speed of the spreading

disc and the slide opening is displayed.

The slide is always closed when

the equipment is switched on; this

allows the slide to be calibrated in its

0 position.

Low temperatures can cause the empty indicator to respond slowly.

To check the adjustment:

Let the spreader run for approx. 1 minute with the slide closed.

If the slide is now opened, the empty indicator must respond after

approx. 5 seconds.

If this does not happen, adjust the empty indicator in the negative range

by 5%. For more information, see chapter 4.5 - Adjusting the empty

indicator.
