11. MESH ACCESS POINT INSTALLATION
Draytek Mesh Access Points should be fixed to the wall using the plugs and screws included.
They should be installed vertically with the antennas at the top.
The mounting positions should have been pre-determined by a site survey and should be within 1 metre of
a mains supply. They should always be placed so they are not in close proximity to large metal objects such
as heating or ventilation pipes/ducts.

1.
Drill
2 holes in the wall using a 6.5mm (¼“) drill bit
*. The vertical distance between the holes should
be 80mm.
*assuming the wall plugs and screws provided are being used.
2.
Fit the wall plugs and screws. Tighten leaving sufficient gap for the screw heads to hook into the
Draytek rear key holes.
3.
Hang the Draytek on the mounting screws and slide down into place. You may need to adjust the
screws to ensure a secure fit.
