q)
Ensure that the greasing schedule for the winch slew ring bearing is maintained at
all times (see maintenance section). Failure to observe this could result in
premature wear to the gear teeth and possible failure.
r)
Ensure the skid handrails are closed at all times other than when the ‘A’ Frame is
luffed outboard or inboard.
s)
Ensure cross deck cables are always disconnected at the power source end when
mob.& demobing.
t)
The extended platform section is to provide extra space for maintenance if the
TMS is to be split from the ROV.In the extended position the trolley is capable of
supporting the full SWL (ROV + TMS + Work Package). We recommend
however that the trolley is not loaded thus Offshore. The trolley is capable of
supporting the TMS offshore.
u)
The 20 degrees sideways motion is only limited by proximity switches. If these
fail the structure will be damaged as the cylinders over extend. Check the function
of the proximity switches regularly and keep a good visual check if operating
close to the limit of the swing.
v)
Never lower the vehicle onto the deck using the a-frame luffing cylinders or the
telescopic legs – only use the snubber raise/lower function to achieve this. Failure
to comply could easily result in the vehicle being crushed against the deck.
