The clutch engages during
idle speed.

The free length of the clutch
spring is too long.

stable/consistent.
Incorrect carburetor
adjustment.
Re-adjust the carburetor.
The carburetor has an air
leakage.
Replace or re-tighten.

After releasing the throttle
lever, the trimmer head
continues to rotate.
