HANDLING
AND
TRANSPORTATION
PREPARING
THE
MACHINE
FOR
TRANSPORTATION
Unplug
the
motor
cable
plug
from
the
control
box
and
disconnect
the
water
hose
from
the
main
head
by
pulling
it
out
(Fi
g.3.1)
(Fi
g.3.2).
Wind
the
electrical
cable
on
the
carriage.
Release
the
pin
sets,
which
attach
the
head
to
the
carriage.
Pull
out
the
hoses
(Fig.3.3),
and
dismount
the
head
from
the
carriage.
The
head
of
the
LAVINA®25LM
‐
S
‐
E
machine
has
one
bar
and
support
handles
intended
for
easy
moving
and
transportation.
LIFT
THE
MACHINE
FROM
WORKING
TO
TOOL
MOUNTING
POSITION
Pus
h
the
front
handle
down
and
swivel
it
to
the
front
(
Fi
g.3.4).
Pull
the
handle
up
and
ensure
the
head
is
stable
in
the
upright
position,
for
Mounting/dismounting
the
tool.
Ensure
that
the
water
tank
is
empty
before
flipping
the
machine.
Pull
the
head
to
upright
position
(Fig.3.5).
The
machines
manufactured
after
Jan.1
2014
are
with
changed
locking
of
the
front
handle
as
shown
on
the
fig.3.4.1
.
LIFTING
Lifting
the
machine
by
crane
is
possible
with
the
eyebolt
that
is
mounted
on
the
carriage
(see
Fi
g.3.6).
The
eyebolt
and
machine
construction
is
rated
only
for
the
weight
of
the
machine.
Do
not
lift
any
other
loads
on
the
machine.
Always
use
hoisting
equipment
rated
for
300
kg
or
660
lbs
.
ADJUSTING
THE
HANDLE
The
Handle
on
the
frame
is
adjustable
in
height
and
allows
the
operator
to
work
in
a
correct
and
safe
posture.
The
machines
manufactured
after
Jan.1
2014
are
with
changed
locking
of
the
handle
on
the
frame.The
unlocking
is
by
pulling
the
handle
(
fig.3.4.1)The
locking
is
automatically
under
action
of
the
spring.Fig.3.7.2
shows
all
possible
position
of
the
handle.
Choose
the
upright
position
to
move
easy
the
machine.
STORAGE
Always
store
and
transport
the
Lavina®25LM
‐
S
‐
E
machine
in
a
dry
place.
Never
transport
the
Lavina®25LM
‐
S
‐
E
machine
unprotected;
it
may
be
damaged
if
transported
unprotected
during
rain
or
snow.
When
storing
the
machine,
the
temperature
may
fall
to
or
less
than
32F
(or
0°C)
,
therefore,
you
should
empty
the
water
from
the
system
using
the
following
steps:
‐
Pull
out
the
hose
of
the
tank
(Fig.
3.10)
‐
Using
compressed
air,
blow
out
the
water
from
the
system
for
the
two
positions
of
the
turn
‐
cock
(Fig.
3.11,
Fig.
3.12).
