13.3.1 Connecting to a WiFi Network
To connect the 831C to an existing WiFi network, complete the process in this
section.
Before you begin:
• Connect a WiFi USB adapter to the 831C. The WiFi status icon
appears in the top left.
Step 1
Navigate to Tools

Setup WiFi .
Step 2
Select an available network. If no network appears on the list, select
Menu
and
select
Refresh List
as shown in Figure 13-3 .

To connect to a hidden network, click
Menu

Add Network
and provide the
network name.
Step 3
If required, enter the network password, and click Add .
Step 4
Verify your network connection details by clicking the newly added network in
the list.

13.3.2 Using 831C as a WiFi Access Point
Setting the 831C as an Access Point enables the meter to broadcast a WiFi
signal that other devices can connect to.
Before you begin:
• Download the LD Atlas app for mobile devices.
The signal strength
indicator and secure
network icon
(Network requires a
password if secure).
Press the Refresh button
if there are no available
networks.
