XPort AR User Guide

Note:

Both the IP and MAC addresses are required for the ARP cache.

IP Address Filter

The IP address filter allows specified hosts and subnets to communicate with the XPort AR.

Note:

If using DHCP/BOOTP, ensure the DHCP/BOOTP server IP address is in the list.

To configure the IP address filter, perform the following steps.

Click the 

IP Address Filter

 on the Main Menu.

Note:

Be aware not to assign your network IP address as “filtered.”Doing so will prevent 

you from accessing the XPort AR. You will have to then access the XPort AR from a 
different computer to reset the configuration.
