Starting ironing garments requiring a low temperature first. Reducing the waiting

SETTING THE STEAM OUTPUT
WARNING

: This appliance generates high temperature steam. To avoid the risk of severe

burns, never touch the soleplate during use. Always hold the iron by its handle.

•  To ensure good steam output, always make sure the

water tank is at least a quarter full.

•  To dry iron without steam, keep the steam control

slider at ‘No Steam’  .

•  Move the slider towards the right of the iron for

more steam. The nearer it is to ‘Maximum Steam’

the more steam will come through the soleplate,

depending on the quantity of steam required and the

heat temperature setting selected.

•  Delicate synthetic fabrics should be ironed without

steam.

WARNING

: The iron gives off steam continuously only if you hold the iron horizontally.

You can stop the continuous steam by placing the iron in a vertical position or by moving

the steam selector to ‘No Steam’  .
