The calibration and profiling process of LaCie blue eye pro is
identical on Microsoft Windows systems and on Macintosh sys-
tems. Apart from the following two user-interface differences,
please refer to the corresponding Macintosh chapters of this
manual.
Choosing your calibration device
The main application window, to the right, allows you to choose
the calibration device to be used. The default choice is the LaCie
blue eye. When using an alternate device, please select the ap-
propriate device in the drop-down menu. When using a Gretag-
MacBeth eyeOne device please select the ‘LaCie blue eye’ op-
tion as the LaCie blue eye colorimeter uses the same driver.
Accessing Finetuning, Ambient Light Analysis and
Advanced Calibration settings
These three features of blue eye pro can be accessed by right-
clicking on the application bar of the LaCie blue eye application.
Please select the appropriate feature from the dropdown menu
and the corresponding window will appear on your screen.
Please refer to the corresponding chapters of the Mac section of
this manual for detailed instructions on using these features.
