DEVICE FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
5.1
LED LIGHTS
The Urocap™ IV contains LED lights that indicate its battery and connection status. Equipment status can also be
checked in the Urocap™ IV Device Manager window.
Once the components are assembled and connected, the LED lights on the Urocap™ IV will flash their
connection status. The LED lights are located on the front of the device.
A.
Bluetooth Icon
a.
Blue: Connected or Sleep Mode
b.
Green: System at work but not connected
c.
Orange: System fault
d.
Light OFF: Not connected
B.
Equipment Status
a.
Green: Connected
b.
Blinking Green: Connected and sampling
c.
Orange: System fault
d.
Blinking Orange: Not connected
e.
Light OFF: System OFF or sleep mode
C.
Battery Power
a.
Green: Battery full and plugged in
b.
Blinking Green: Battery good
c.
Orange: Charger plugged in and battery charging.
d.
Blinking Orange: Low battery, time to charge
e.
Light OFF: Battery empty

CONNECTION STATUS
Icon indicators in the Urocap™ IV Device Manager window will also display the status of the Urocap™ IV. The
colored circle in the middle of the screen displays the battery status.
When connected and functional, a green check
mark will appear next to the Urocap™ IV picture
and will display its connection status.
After a period of inactivity, when the Urocap™
IV is connected but not in use, it will go to
“sleep” to conserve battery power. To restart
the device when in
Hardware Sleep Mode,
click
the Run button. To restart the device when in
Bluetooth Sleep Mode
, click the Wake up
button on the control panel.
When there is a connection failure, you will need
to re-connect the Urocap™ IV. Click the device
button to re-connect. If the device does not
connect after this attempt follow the steps
starting on page 50 for more information
