Original instructions

Backdraft Dampers

Designed for use in buildings under negative pressure to keep outside air from
entering the laboratory through the hood ventilation system. Damper is weighted
to stay in down/resting position when the hood is not in use, and rises from the
airflow exhausting when the blower is on. It mounts vertically on blower outlet.
The damper is made of PVC Type 1, unplasticized, schedule 40 duct.
