5.2.2.3.10 NAV Displays
The NAV DISPLAYS... menu item is shown when displaying the VOR/ILS Mode with DME, TACAN
Mode, or FMS Mode. When the NAV DISPLAYS... function is activated, the current menu list is
replaced with the items from the following list which are relative to the active NAV Mode display:
•
DME GROUNDSPEED [ON or OFF]
•
DME TIME [ON or OFF]
•
TCN GROUNDSPEED [ON or OFF]
•
TCN TIME [ON or OFF]
•
FMS BEARING [ON or OFF]
The purpose of this sub-menu is to allow the pilot to toggle on or off some of the secondary data in the
NAV displays. For a particular NAV display, the data items shown above that are not shown have the
“ON”. Activation of an “ON” menu item adds that data to the NAV display. For a particular NAV
display, the data items shown above that are shown have the “OFF”. Activation of an “OFF” menu item
removes that data from the NAV display.
5.2.2.3.11 Baro Type
Activation of the BARO TYPE... function shows one of the three following sub-menus where the items of
the list are based on the current operating mode.

changes the baro display to that type.
5.2.2.3.12 IAS Tape Direction
The IAS TAPE DIRECTION [UP or DOWN] menu item is shown when IAS INCREASE TAPE
DIRECTION configuration option is set to PILOT MENU ITEM. The IAS TAPE DIRECTION UP is
shown when the IAS tape moves downward for increasing IAS. The IAS TAPE DIRECTION DOWN is
shown when the IAS tape moves upward for increasing IAS. Activation of the IAS TAPE DIRECTION
function toggles the direction of the movement of the IAS tape.
