3.2.2.2.4 E.M.I. Check
Perform an E.M.I. check on the following systems:
•
VHF COMM(s): adjust frequencies 118.0 through 135.9 MHz.
•
VOR (L) and (R): tune to local VOR station.
•
ADF: check that pointer and display are not affected.
•
DME: tune to local DME station.
•
GPS: Check satellite status.
3.2.2.2.5 ILS System Test
NOTE
This paragraph applies only to aircraft with the indicator configured to
display ILS information.
1.
Set up a valid ILS input to GH-3100 Indicator.

Select ILS normal display using the GH-3100 Indicator menu and observe normal indication of the
following ILS display data (refer to Figure 3-2).
•
ILS Mode Descriptor
•
Selected Course
•
Left / Right Deviation Indicator (Localizer Indicator)
•
Up / Down Deviation Indicator (Glide Slope Indicator)

Select ILS BC
(
Back Course
)
using the GH-3100 Indicator menu and observe normal indication of
the following ILS BC display data.
•
BC Annunciator
•
BC Left / Right Deviation Indicator
NOTE
The Glide Slope Indicator will be removed from the display and localizer
deviation is reversed.
4.
Turn off the ILS input and observe that the ILS or ILS BC display data is removed.
