Paper Feeder (C)
In addition to additional drawers [cassettes] that are the same as
the one equipped as standard, you can also add 11x8
1/2
", A4 or
B5-size drawers up to a total capacity of 3000 sheets (one 500-sheet
built-in drawer [cassette]).
Paper loading procedures for the 500-sheet drawer [cassette] are
the same as those for the standard drawer (page 3-1).
* Use right cover 3 to clear paper jam.
* Casters are attached to the bottom of the Paper Feeder.
* B5 is for Asia-Pacific specification copiers only.
Loading paper into the large-capacity drawer
[cassette]

Pull out the drawer [cassette] as far as it will go.
NOTE
Do not pull multiple drawers [cassettes] out at the same
time.

Load the paper, aligning it along the right side of the
drawer [cassette].
IMPORTANT!
• When loading paper, make sure there is no creasing or
any other abnormality that can cause a paper jam.
• A sticker (1) is provided inside the drawer [cassette] to
indicate the maximum allowable level. The surface of
the paper stack should not be higher than the indicated
level.
• When you are loading paper into a drawer [Cassette],
make sure that the side facing downward when the
package is opened is the side that is facing upward in
the drawer [cassette] as well.
CAUTION
To prevent the possibility of accidents due to tilting
the copier body, always turn the desk’s stopper
bolts until they make firm contact with the floor
during initial installation or whenever the machine
is moved.
